Back on the Horse

A little under 3 months ago Hamish did what all mothers dread - ignored their repeated safety messages and put himself in danger. Not by running across the road but by jumping a fence and running behind a now startled pony (Buddy) that was busy being fed.

The result was a jaw snapped clean in two places, 4 days in hospital, wired for 8 weeks and enough blood over him and his mother for this four year old to ask if he was going to die.

Out of the blue on Sunday, Hamish asked if he could ride Buddy, so today he did:

Needless to say I'm pretty proud of this little man's courage.
